I have hunted this area for 15 years.  Try the land up Lost Lake Rd. out of Havillah.  Or the areas above Highlands Snow Park. Unfortunately there will be out of control cattle populations in both areas but, Great Whitetails.



The cows are supposed to be gathered and gone now. You might have ones that wouldn't come in yet...........
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

Mulies are pushing does pretty good in the okanogan county area right now I haven't seen much whitetail rut activity going on yet

My brother is over burning piles at our cabin and had a 4x4 walk to within 50 feet or so before turning and walking off. Said neck was really fat (he is not a hunter) made the head look small but the antlers looked cool. Sounds like a littel rut activity going on. Good luck to your son  :tup:.
