The only place you might be able to take an ATV that is inaccessible, is PRIVATE PROPERTY, timber Lands, State Land or DNR as far as I know. Plus, anything that MIGHT be possible to use an ATV on can be no wider than 50 inches, period.

Naches Sportsman can fill you in better than me, because each Ranger District Ranger, in the same National Forest can make up his own rules about ATV usage.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

Wouldn't closed logging road gates mean no vehicles beyond the locked gate?

 :dunno:

Not always.  In my area there are lots of logging roads.  A big area i frequent has i think 7 gates.  A few are open a few are clised but they all go into the same riad system.  The gates that have sigbage saying no vehickes are obvious.  Some are clised for no apparent reason as there are other permitted areas of ingress that kead ti tge same areas.  I recently talked to a firester abiyt that when i was out on my quad and she said there was no reason gate "x" was closed, and it may as well be open since vehicles are allowed.  That was a couple weeks ago.  Yesterday i went down there and what do yiu know, somebody had opened that gate.  If its private timber company land theyll put up signs telling you no vehicles.  Otherwise i assume its fair game and act accordingly

Sorry can't help as to where to rent ATV/UTVs but in response to closed roads and Dirt bikes forget the dirt bike forget the A/Utv's get a horse. Don't have to worry about the Authorized Vehicles Only signs don't have to worry about closed locked gates that you would otherwise walk around.
And while on the subject of Authorized Vehicles Only not sure who owns the Funky Blue Gray Silverado that had to open the gate that had the sign on it to drive up a supposedly closed to vehicles area but with 3 of you in the truck on 11/7/14 at approximately 1430 hrs you would of thought one of the 3 would of been able to read the sign OBTW you might want to take the dealer license plate frame off your license so folks don't know you bought your shiny truck in Port Orchard
