Elk Quizz #1
« on: December 26, 2014, 08:25:39 PM »
Alright, came up with something to keep us thinking elk during the off season. Click on the link, go thru the questions on this first one, and see how you do. Make sure you scroll far enough down to see "all" the available answers, click the chosen answer till it turns blue, and click submit.  If you disagree with any of the answers ID'ed as correct, bring it up and we'll discuss. Enjoy. RJ

Ok, so I got like 4 answers wrong, but it never told me the right answers? I went back and took it again and only missed 2 this time but I still didn't find what the right answers were. I missed the one on how old a calf is when weened and how long to stay after a cold call setup.

Is anybody else having trouble opening the quiz?  I know it doesn't work so well on cell phones (doesn't seem to allow a complete drop down of the answer set) but seems to work fine for me and others on a normal PC.  ERK, that's a good copy on the quiz not showing the correct answer at the time you answer.  I'll talk with Elknut (quiz was designed originally for his site and has his stamp of approval) and see what he thinks about having a note after each question stating the correct answer..... may be a good idea.

Thanks to those playing along.  Just trying to keep some positive elk chat going during the off season.  RJ

I have taken the quiz twice now; and missed the calf question both times. I now know the answer, and it's not 4 months.  For a dollar I'll let you know.  :chuckle:

I think more elk need to take this quiz so they know how to act.
There is no greater respect to have for wildlife than to harvest an animal fairly and use it's flesh to feed your family.  ~me
