Duck club

Looking to establish a duck club around the Vancouver area, need some one to put it together. Any ideas?

Downeastah try the local DU committee folks they are a very good source of information maybe run over to the DU Western office in Vancouver and ask the question.

Im a member of a duck club, we have a floating house in Red Slew.  There are ten members, it is a Five hundred dollar buy in and yearly dues are based on what maintance and up keep cost for the boat moters, and house.  so it ranges from 100.00 to 400.00 per member per year.  The club has an 18 foot boat which we keep in a boat house and run back and forth to the house in.  The club pays for fule, and propane and gas for the boat and generator.  There are three duck boats at the house for members or guest and we each have are own duck boat.  It allows us to keep our decoys and equipment down there in a safe secure place, and because of it's location others have to make a seven mile boat run to get to where we hunt.  The boat house will sleep 12 people.

How do I get in on that?  I live here in Battle Ground and I'm hoping to expand into waterfowl hunting after doing some deer hunting the last few years.  It's probably too late in the season for this year, but maybe next?
