I was always told by others that there is no feedback on tooth samples you send in but when I stopped by fish and wildlife so they could remove the teeth from my Palouse late season buck they informed me that that is incorrect. Maybe you already knew this but I figured I'd share just in case
I'm not sure if any of you care but you can check you bear and deer ages if you've ever sent in a successful tooth sample. If there are no results its because the tooth was insufficient for results.
http://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/tooth_age/search.phpI was sort of curious what the average ages for you guys and gals who have ever sent in samples.
My 2012 deer (a 5x5) was 3 as was my 2008 (4x4). I was surprised because they don't seem to me to be in the same class.
