Saw this one late archery last year.  No I did not want to kill him as just not what I want.  First was 150yds, and second was much closer.  That is all the zoom my pocket digital has.  Fog and snow did not help, but this guy just looked old and tough in the body and horns.

Oh he was tempting, but the shooter was past this one.  Should have said Wanted not want.  Had there not been better in the same canyon I could have "settled" for just a forked horn.

Here is a cougar kill from the Desert Unit.

22" spread the tips are 9 inches apart. If you look at the buck that NWBrute killed this year on his desert hunt there are some serious genetic resemblances between the two.

As a pt of reference my cat weighs 14 pounds.
