Not bad for a small antler White Tail shot second week of modern firearm season. 230 yard neck shot. with a 280 Rem. 140 vld

That is a great buck if you plan to eat it. If you are eating antlers then it will not feed you as long as some of the other bucks on here  :chuckle:. Nice job.

he was a pretty smart guy almost didn't see him he was weaving in between some fir trees and I barely caught a glimpse of his rump I had to use my rifle scope to make sure he was legal (4pt GMU)

The big antlered bucks get all the attention on this site, but i'll bet you not many would pass on that buck especially in the second week (if they would admit it)  ;)

My son had a chance in the exact same spot in the late season with one even bigger but got buck fever I guess ill get him next year if the wolves don't get him first. been seeing a lot of wolf sign this year. I hunt the same spot every year for the last 15 years its been real good to me and my son.
