Thanksgiving eve buck...
« on: November 30, 2014, 09:55:27 PM »
Decided to take a break from chasing mule deer, for the day, and head over to some family property to chase some tail...

Arrowed this guy at 20 yards from the ground (no blind) while he was grunting and running does around.

5x5.... Or 6x6 if you count the stickers.

Nice job Tony.  I was on the east side a couple weeks ago in the 101.  It was at that point I decided to not hunt whitetail on the ground ever again. haha.  Pretty cool to see a whitetail buck like that taken from the ground.  Rut was definitely on where I was.  Seen some neck *censored*s and watched a couple bucks chasing does.
Every thought of my being is in regards to being a high tech predator and I relish the role.

The right place at the right time.  Great job getting it done!
