Kioti's Long Hunt
« on: December 01, 2014, 09:44:01 AM »
My brother life long hunting and fishing partner, best friend and a lifelong outdoorsman has past onto the Happy Hunting grounds and fishing waters in search of a good stand, some calm waters and further possibilities to be set for the long hunt.  We all know the inevitable and try like crazy to avoid it.  But after a 3 month fight with stomach cancer...the battle is over.  He lived to hunt and fish, read about guns and ammo, hike the hills and cruise the waters.  A lifetime of strength and knowledge...gone in 3 months.  Clasping the last bull elk shed he struggled to find during this seasons elk hunt brought solace and peace that he was on that path with nature.  Peace to all, strength and good health, listen to your body and love and embrace the moment as today is the "good ol days"...As Herb would say...God is Great, beer is good and people are crazy...now lets go get us some meat.  Kioti signs off

Condolances.
If man was not supposed to eat animals, God wouldn't have made them out of meat.

Sounds like his priorities were in order.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Well written.
May he rest in peace.
Pavement, crowds and inaccurate rifles...
Thanks anyway.
