Went out to my secret spot today :chuckle:.
I had to put on a LONG stalk to get close to these guys :chuckle:, they were really skittish :chuckle: :chuckle:.

Not very many elk down yet, heres a smaller bull. 6x5 I think.
He was standing and sat down right when i went to take his pic :bash:

Great pics.,  that old ram with a horn broke off looks pretty rough.  I wonder if he will make it through the winter.

I don't know, he was running around checking just about every ewe that peed while I was there. I didn't know they were still rutting. Some bigger rams were pushing each other around. And lip curling a little.

Anybody been to the cowiche wildlife area yet? I went there first but I only saw a raghorn 4x5 and some cows. They were too far away to get a pic of though. Also has anybody ever quail hunted up in that area?

With this storm we should start seeing more and more elk down in the feeding stations. :IBCOOL:
