Went out to my secret spot today .
I had to put on a LONG stalk to get close to these guys , they were really skittish .

Not very many elk down yet, heres a smaller bull. 6x5 I think.
He was standing and sat down right when i went to take his pic

I don't know, he was running around checking just about every ewe that peed while I was there. I didn't know they were still rutting. Some bigger rams were pushing each other around. And lip curling a little.

Anybody been to the cowiche wildlife area yet? I went there first but I only saw a raghorn 4x5 and some cows. They were too far away to get a pic of though. Also has anybody ever quail hunted up in that area?

With this storm we should start seeing more and more elk down in the feeding stations.

Man that is some awesome looking rams for sure !   I want to go up there sometime and get some pics !
