Here is a few highlights of hunting with Royal Flush in Indiana over the holiday. They are a put and shoot preserve that has very nice land, good guides, and some really nice dogs to hunt over. We hunted the tall grass and then the milo on the second day hunt. The milo hunt was tough. It was windy, birds were running like crazy, but we still got a few. My favorite two shots are the sky busted chukar and the pheasant in the woods. One of the more exciting moments is we were chasing a little quail that was running. The dog was acting funny and it turned out we were also pushing a hen pheasant at the same time. The quail got away and my brother almost stepped on the hen before she busted. She flew up his leg and he laid down some fire. Sadly, she escaped to live another day. Enjoy.
