I was next in line at the cash register today at Mclendon's Hardware. The cashier answered the phone. I obviously only heard one side of the conversation but it went like this, (the cashier speaking).
"What? No you can't drop off feral cats here. We don't even sell ammunition anymore".
This was one of the older senior women cashiers who has been there forever.
