Snoqualmie River Coons
« on: December 07, 2014, 08:05:10 PM »
From Ellensburg but drive through Carnation occasionally when over on the west side ( cool little town if you haven't visited) but when driving the highway it looks like Coon heaven with the swamps and the river right their wondering if any one ever sees coon here or even hunts with the dogs their. Would be a fun trip to make with the dogs.

I know that it is lined with private property. Tough to get permission with people in the valley if you don't know someone. If you can find a spot there are coons around. Good luck

I grew up there. There are a lot of coons around the area. Best bet would be to run the river or head up Stossel creek. There are an endless number of old logging roads that connect from Stossel Creek to Monroe and its all public land that you can hunt.
