Ruger American Ranch 300blk
« on: December 08, 2014, 07:33:07 PM »
Has anyone bought one of these? I am totally into this gun especially in FDE. I reload at home and am looking for a fun new caliber i've never shot before and this gun looks awesome for a dog gun and I already own a Ruger American in .308 and I LOVE IT.

I know nothing about the load and would obviously do my due diligence before building this load, but what do you think of this gun? What do you think of this caliber for a predator and MAYBE a deer load for close quarters?
The deer are exactly where you find them, and no where you dont!

The 300 blk shines with a suppressor. Other then that the round is not to impressive. I run 210 or 220 grain bullets to be quiet and 125g ballistic tips for all around load.

I own the predator which is almost the same gun in 308 and have been really happy with it.

They are pretty few and far between right now. I have not seen any in stock with any of my wholesalers yet.
