Nice buck!

Just curious as to what is the record holder, and how does your buck stack up in the rankings?

I was told I should get my mule deer scored that I got this year. I have never been into that sort of stuff, but I am considering at least learning more about it. Congratulations! That's a dandy buck!

It takes 125 points to enter a w/t in P&Y. Not sure what the top deer are scoring.

I really like how your mount turned out PA.   VERY nice looking.    Good eye of matching that wood up with your buck.   Congrats on your P and Y entry too.   Any surprises on the score?
I scored it right at 128 5/8, on the side with the one less point he took the circumference measurement  1/2 way between the tip and the first point. I didn't know to do that. He said you have to have at least 3 circumference measurements. So yes I was pleasantly surprised he scored more.

Pa Ben
Very nice touch with the wood base.  You don't happen to have any more laying around that are looking for a home?  Always special to get a pic of the buck that eventually goes on the wall.  Congratulations on a nice job all the way around.
Just a minor correction on the circumference measurements... you always get 4 per side regardless of number of points coming off the main beam.  Even a spike merits 4 circumference measurements and a buck with 6 points on the main beam will still get just 4.

I was up on a ridge taking my son-in-law deer hunting when I came across it, I was keeping an out for the perfect one for this skull. Same thing for last years skull, I was out checking my trail cameras when I tripped over it.
