My first AWESOME cam soak.
« on: December 13, 2014, 09:54:28 PM »
Set up a trail camera on a what seemed to be a well used game trail right at the tail end of early archery. Well went and retrieved it today and couldn't be more more stoked with the results. Had a few brews with H20 and went over the results with a side of deer steaks and desserts made by the wives. Check out the photos!

Looks like you need to get out there with a rabbit squealer and a yote / bob appropriate gun.

Looks like you have a heck of a spot there.  Love the pictures of the bobcat.

Thanks for posting. How do you think deer are using that trail. Are the time stamps correct? I see bucks traveling the same direction on that trail in early morning AND evening hours. Probably some rut activity, given the dates.

That's my plan for next year. I might be building an AR as my christmas gift this year form my wife. Then I'll have the perfect predator perforater.

I know there is a good number of deer using the adjacent clear cuts quite a bit. I knew there were coyotes too, but was seriously surprised by the bear and bobcat. The dates and times are all correct. I got like 350 pictures but i just posted the best of the bunch.

Your doe pic is nov 19th at 2250 (10:50pm) and its daylight.  Your times are wrong.  I think you set it not realizing its a 24 hour clock so your am and pm is backward.  Other daylight pics too time stamped in times that are way after dark.

Oh nice catch. Didn't realize that. The dates are correct though. I know that for certain.

Great variety! I would not wait until next year to get after those yotes  :dunno:. The sooner you get after them the more deer and other wildlife you will save.
