East Side Deer Help Please!!!!

I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me out for next season. I am from the west side and have only hunted small game and birds for 2 years. Many people have told me that populations of deer on the west are really down so I was wondering if anyone could help me out with east side hunting. Not asking for an exact spot rather than just a fairly decent public spot for deer hunting. I would be doing modern rifle hunting, and would most likely be doing early season. So if anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it!!!!!!!!

Nice seeing you around. If you are looking to make some steaks during modern I'd suggest considering the route D-Rock did with his doe this year. There are some areas that I believe you can draw an antlerless ( maybe it is 2nd deer?) tag and really increase your odds. Other than that i would suggest archery for longer seasons and possibly less crowds, however, you are looking for modern. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
