Zwickey 2 Blade Broadheads
« on: December 06, 2014, 09:37:14 AM »
I have the broad heads in the photo along with some aluminum arrow adapters. They've never been used or even sharpened. My shoulder blew out so I don't shoot the longbow any more. If anybody wants them they are in Ellensburg and I'll give them away if you pick them up.   They're 125 grain without the adapter.
And I think God must be a cowboy at heart
He made wide open spaces from the start
He made grass and trees and mountains and a horse to be a friend
And trails to lead ol' cowboys home again

Hey sir if you still have these I'd gladly pay shipping and give you a little extra for the hassle.
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short.

Amen

I gave them to somebody already from a PM. Sorry, I should have posted that they were "rehomed"

My first bear, first antelope, first elk and third deer combined for my first ever clean sweep of my Oregon bow tags using the Zwickey Black Diamond Delta.  To this day I still hold them in high regard.  So many of the copies are way too soft making the original far and away the best IMO.  With a Lansky type sharpener you can really get those heads scary sharp.

What a generous offer RG!  Sorry to hear about your shoulder.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I used them for years and had some extras.  I'm glad somèbody can put them to use.  They really penetrate since they cut to the tip. The trick is sharpening them but they'll shave your arm if you do it right.  I believe part of the satisfaction you get from hunting and outdoor sports comes from developing some do it yourself skills hence broad head sharpening, cutting your own meat, fly tying, and dozens more of these tasks have always added to my enjoyment.  Some people just pay the other guy to do it, which there's nothing wrong with, but they miss out on some enjoyment and satisfaction too.
