Mixed bag
« on: December 19, 2014, 05:30:48 PM »
Birds from today.  Taken in Snohomish county.  They were a bit winky when it came to commiting to decoy, so after a few hours of that I had to decide not to be picky about what I shot.  Given that, still a good limit.  One of the wigeon was just a tank.  Would have made a great mount bird.

Even thoiugh the old dog in the photo doesn't get to go on hunts any more due to health issues she still likes to pose for pictures.   :)

Stan Marsh: "My Uncle Jimbo says we gotta get up there early. Right Uncle Jimbo?"

Jimbo: "That's right, Stanley. Animals are much easier to shoot in the morning."

Thats not a bad day at all.  It's been a few years since ive been out, might have to buy a duck stamp and dust of the dekes.
