Insulated Midlayer Pants?

Has anyone ever seen anything else like this?

Have been searching around and havent come across anything similar.  But this is for the most part exactly what I have been trying to find.  Lightweight, soft material that can go under my shell.  All the other insulated pants Iv come across are meant to be outer layers.  I currently do a bit of miles so always appreciate packable/lightweight layers I can throw on when I get to my stand.

My reasoning for not buying it since it is "for the most part exactly what I have been trying to find," is it is a little thinner than Id like, an dont feel like paying for the camo, which is pointless.

Sitka makes the Kelvin pant.  I use it in a similar fashion.  Though it would be nice if they made a Kelvin Light pant like they do the jacket.  The Kelvin pant can be a little too warm and bulky at times.  I may have to look at the ones you posted.  Would definitely be nice to have a thinner Kelvin option.  I thought Kuiu was going to add a Spindrift pant which would have been perfect.  But they went with the super-down stuff and dropped the Spindrift, I think.

Don't know for sure, but I think the Kelvin is rated warmer.  Primaloft is fabulous stuff!!  Super-Down will pack WAY better and be MUCH lighter!!

Where do they have warmth ratings for each?  Didnt see any one their sites.

I've taken the poor amount of information they give out and kind of make a guess. 

Sitka Kelvin pant is rated as a 170 gram Primaloft fill weight.  Problem is they are not specific on which grade of Primaloft they are using.  About six different varieties now, I think   I will just assume it is the cheaper original all synthetic stuff.  170 grams is approximately 6 ounces.  From what I can find, which isn't much, it takes about twice as much Primaloft by weight to equal the warmth of down.  So when Kuiu says there Super-Down pant is 1.6oz I assume that is the fill weight rating   So that leads me to believe the Super-Down pant is just over half as warm as the Kelvin pant.  Which just might be perfect for most applications as my Kelvins are way too warm in September and October.

But as I said in my last post, "I don't know for sure..."  I can not seem to get enough information to be absolute.  I'm sure there are folks on here a lot more knowledgeable about such things than I.  Perhaps they will chime in.

On Sitka's site it lists it as the Primaloft Sport insulation.  Wish Kuiu had an overfill option for the superdown.  More interested in down, preferably a treated down.  For me I can always ventilate if I get to warm, and these are more for late season.  Would love to test out the Kuiu 145 wool, 210 wool, and super-down pants layered.
