First Marten
« on: January 05, 2015, 05:00:35 PM »
Thought I had another evil Civet harassing one of my cat sets, but caught this guy in my civet set
I was at an elevation of about 1000 ft thought Marten stayed a little higher.
Beautiful hide.

Awesome catch! I saw one last year on the high buck hunt. That's the only one though.

You guys see many marten in WA?

I generally only run into them in the high country.   I have a whole barrel full of 110s I wish I could use on them.
