It was a good day to spot a branched bull at them. I specifically remember a bull that showed up at the upper oak creek lot, which they closed down eventually. You just didn't see them. Now they are stacked like cord wood. Big difference!
Lots of dropped jaws there, how far had they run? 2006, wolves yet or other cause?
I've got some photos that look the same from about 6-7 yrs ago, just below Hidden Valley Ranch, Close?

I saw them in a field, pulled over, walked to the fence line and started snapping pics. They were more spooked about trying to cross the road. Given it was March, I suspect they were slowly working their way back up into the upper elevations.
