Great shots man.. Raptor lover myself, handled Redshoulder and Redtails before with a family friend that was a falconer in CA.
Really pretty ones (though I am not sure they are in WA) are the Kestrels or sparrowhawks. They are like a small Peregrine falcon in appearance.
Keep the raptor shots coming!

Good shots indeed!
Lamrinth - we do have kestrels here, pretty much all over the western states.
In my younger days I had a WA. State Falconers Permit. I started out with a Kestrel, and a couple years later got a Red- Tail. They were both females, which in birds of prey are about 1/3 larger than the males.
I never got them to hunt wild birds, but they were killer mousers in the back yard during training sessions.

Yeah they sure are. If I recall there is still a license program here in WA, but that is a full time commitment for sure and one I just could not give proper dedication to right now, even though I would love to.
College I went to had a injured redtail they were rehabing, for 6mos I spent time every day with it, feeding, cleaning, etc. Was an incredible experience being so close for extended time.
I recall this year when the Seahawks mascot went Awol. Would have loved to be the guy it tried to land on, kept yelling at tv, PUT YOUR ARM UP PUT YOUR ARM UP!
Bird was just looking for a stable spot to sit on!

It was very time consuming going to school and taking care of a bird.
My mentor that got me, actually us (3 teenage guys) started was caring for the raptors at the old Walk-in-the Wild Zoo in the Spokane Valley years ago. They had an injured Golden Eagle they were rehabbing and when he was handling it (perching on his arm) it was eye-to-eye with him - pretty impressive considering the talons are about the size of a mans hand!
