thats awesome. any info on the guide service.

http://www.mooseislandoutfitters.com/

Thanks croix, I was out hunting quack-er today.
A little background on Moose Island Outfitters the guide territory was purchased last year by two guys I know from Cambell River BC, Mark Raniger and Tom Harvey. Like most of the guides I know they are top notch people and the guest is always their priority. They offer a good range of hunts from spring bear and I might add at a reasonable price. Their primary target is moose and from the first operating season they got some guests into some nice 50" bulls. The species of moose in the territory is smaller than the Alaskan but bigger than the Schiris that we have. If you tag out early plenty of good fishing and some grouse hunting is also available.
They are also a member of GOABC (Guide Outfitter Association of British Columbia) the motto of GOABC is Fair Chase and No Fences and it is supported by SCI. If anyone wants more info please send me a PM and I can pop some ligature in the mail.
Happy Holidays,
