Killed plenty water soaked dogs!!
Its the wind that kills it for me.  They can't hear the call and they just don't move as much in my opinion.
If you aint hunting, you aint livin'

I havent actually called while it is raining but I have heard several different opinions. Most are from magazine articles and such from all over the country that tend to say it doesnt work. But most everyone I have talked to on the wet side says it doesent matter, some even say wetter is better. Guess its all what the dogs are used to. My first yote was called in at 3 in the afternoon, not 5 minutes after a terrential downpour stopped. I had been sitting there waiting, the rain stopped, I let out some screams on the call and there he was.

:yeah:
If ya want to catch'em at a good time, get out there the morning after a previous day or night of strong winds.  Over here, they pretty much stay holed up when the wind blows much more than a moderate breeze. They don't seem to mind rain, as long as its not too heavy, but they hate wind.
If I get up in the early AM and the tops of the pine trees are rockin, I go back to bed.
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.
