Anybody on the peninsula? This seems like a great way to get out and enjoy nature and put faces to forum names while getting ready for the fall.

I'm in Port Townsend (no jokes!) so lots of great access to NF, DNR, and Pope resources land nearby.

Mailbox Peak! if you can do mailbox with a full pack your set. Short and steep, and I mean steep.

Granite mountain if you want a longer hike, fewer people, and great elevation.

Pretty sure Mailbox Peak is not accessible right now due to construction/paving on Middle Fork Road.
And it's all switchbacked now since they renovated it, so not as steep as it was.

I hit mnt peak today in Enumclaw, man I am out of shape! Going to start doing more hiking now that it's light when I get home, let me know if you guys get up to peak in the future.

I hit Peak this morning too. Man there was a lot of people there today! I know Brock and Scott do it once or twice a week, and I usually do it twice too.

Typically we go on Tuesday and Thursday at 4:45 PM
You guys still hit the south side?  The north side has a super steep trail as well as the normal trail. (I know you guys know this, just want to let others know.)
“In common with”..... not so much!!

We have been hitting both. Just depends on the day.

I'd like to get in on this sometime soon as well. The girlfriend and I just did mt si on valentines day and it was a great warm up hike. Made it to the summit in 2 hours and then we jogged down.  Good workout!
