Just curious if this is open to the public or if you have to be a WSTA member?
It's not the size of the trophy that make's it a trophy.

You may just be one person in this world. But you may be the world to just one person.

Anybody going to the rendezvous from the northern peninsula? My wife has hunter ed that day in Sequim so she needs the car, but I really really really want to go to the rendezvous in Elma.

Would be happy to share travel expenses.

I live in Port Townsend but can meet somewhere within about an hour.

Thanks and hope to see everyone at the rendezvous!

Thanks. I figured it was open to everyone just wanted to make sure. Gonna be out at the beach clam digging with the family. Will be heading to the rendezvous once everyone's limits are caught and cleaned up.

Planning on attending this rendezvous.  Will there be any bobcat traps available to buy at the event?  Is the bobcat cage trapping panel going to discuss how to find good locations to place your sets?  I am new to trapping (this year) and have yet to catch a bobcat.  I have done lots of reading, bought some educational dvds(Mercer Lawings), etc, but nowhere have I found very much information about how to select the best location for your set(besides someone saying to "wear a pair of boots out").  I am looking forward to learning from those that have experience with actually catching and after 1 season of having traps out I now have some legitimate questions........Thanks for your time.

I have some cat traps I would sell if you are interested. I'll bring a few for you to look at.
Location is one of the topics for the discussion on the cat trapping panel.

Changes

Adam will be doing a mink and a muskrat for the fur handling demo.

Miss Rodeo  will be a no show but we will have her fur vest there for you to look at.

Mark Wagner will be a no show. I caught a cat today so will fill in with a fur handling demo and show how to skin out the feet.

As posted earlier it is $10 admission but we will let kids in free.

Any idea how long WDFW will be there for the cites tagging? Some things came up and I am not going to be able to get there until about 1:30 or 2.

:yeah: im looking at trapping for the first time next year as well. I learned a lot today and want to thank everyone who gave demonstrations or seminars. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and cant wait to get out and start trapping. I felt the bobcat round table was very educational, at least it was for me.
