When I was in the market looking for a Jeep last year, I started thinking about stories like this. You might say this is "Exhibit A" of why I would not buy a used Jeep.

Years ago on the West hill in Kent (516) I was maybe two minutes late to watch a guy roll a brand spanking new, tag in the window Pathfinder. Dust was still in the air....Guy made it maybe 20 feet up one of those end of road/ steep gravelly hillsides begging for testing your 4wd.... Uh, yeah he screwed the pooch and somehow got is sideways and rolled it....His wife was not too happy looking, "chatting" him up from the pavement. Sometimes guys do this to themselves.....

Amazing how many ATV/ORV tickets one can write in the cities. That situation is one example.

I don't get it bigtex, What does a Nissan Pathfinder have to do with an ATV/ORV ticket?? Two different classifications of motor vehicle.

Reminds me of my early experience with my first 4x4 SUV. Bought a new '93 Pathfinder and thought I'd take it up to Evans Creek to "try 'er out". Before I knew it, I was in WAY over my head and damn near rolled it. That rig probably still has pucker marks in the driver's seat.

That's one way to nail an idiot.   I wish they'd get a couple of these guys out tearing up the LT.    Hauling it out with a logging choker and a chinook would be fun to watch, the let it go a couple hundred feet in the air over the junkyard or impound yard.   Then hand the bill to the guy.  Community service would be re planting and shoveling.

This Jeep reminds me of the story behind the brand new car that has been stuck on the hill north of the fred meyer store in yakima for a long time .

He could sneak in with a hi lift jack, lift the high side till it starts rolling and hope it rolls all the way to the bottom. Then he could sell to the insurance company.

You know at least the guy left his full name and number.  Ill give him credit for that.  Lots of people would probably try their hardest to keep the issue a secret and sneak it out of there.

There's a really good chance he had no idea what he'd done. I bet he knows by now!
