Pre-Podcast, Thoughts?
« on: February 28, 2015, 08:18:14 AM »
OK, folks I've put several of these together now that will eventually be on Itunes, for now this one is on Soundcloud for review from you! (grin) Please listen to these couple hunting stories & we will add a few more a bit at a time. The subjects will vary, all are not hunting stories! Thanks!

For best results please listen with either earbuds or headphones plugged in, sounds much cleaner this way!

That was fun to listen to!  There is a lot of experience wrapped up in those details that you're able to impart through a story that may not make as much sense in an instructional video. I know there are a ton of hunters who will benefit greatly by hearing the story.  It is like getting to sit around the campfire listening to stories and picking up good tidbits.  Excellent work!
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

Ha Ha, Todd you are so right my friend! The details in an actual hunt & how it went down & worked out is where ones can learn. No doubt we've all been in encounters where we've wondered what should we do next to increase the odds in our favor! These Podcasts can help in those areas as I share countless of elk encounters & how they were handled. It doesn't mean I'm always right as you will see in future ones but we are all always learning! (grin) I have another one coming up shortly! Thank You!

Thanks for positing this, great content!

I did notice a bit of reverb/echo in the recording. If you want to get rid of that, you might try recording in a room with more furniture, soft flooring, wall hangings, etc., or pick up some cheap egg crate type foam.

Hope you do many more of these.
