Mutli Season Elk Question
« on: March 02, 2015, 03:27:01 PM »
I know they give out 1000 multi season elk tags but does anyone know how many people submitted an application and what the average number of points it took to draw?

9,647 applications and 4.15 was the average points of those who were drawn.

I've got 5 points this year and figured my odds of drawing are about 20%.

I bet there is a huge increase in app purchases just cause of the muzzy season.

So if I put in for it by tomorrow the 31st of March=(deadline) and I get drawn they take your points away that you have for special permit elk and deer -- like your points for doe and cow elk or any bull ??

I'm lost and any help would be great!

No, you will build up points for the multi season tag just like you do for all the other permits. They're separate. So if you've never applied for multi season, you'll be in with only 1 point this year.

I don't me to be a thread jacker, but do you guys know if you have to actually submit the multiseason app. Or are they being automatically submitted like they were last year?

Nevermind I looked it up. If you are applying as an individual you will automatically be submitted, but if you are applying  as a group  you need to submit your application

If you want to apply for the point option you need to submit for that as well. Probably obvious, but thought I'd mention it anyway.

guess I didn't need to submit my individual app online today, not sure why there would be a place to do it if it didn't need to be done?
