Recommendation for broadhead.

G5 Montecs seem to shoot best for me.. only have to micro adjust my sight 3 clicks left to be in the bullseye ring at 100yards.

I have killed deer and elk with most heads out there.. name one lol.. that being said my top 2 are montecs and slick trick magnums... both have very accurate and devastating on everything I have shot with them. Muzzys are cheap IMO and the blades break way to easily. Shuttle T's were good but the blood trails were not impressive so I switched.

I have a nice collection with slicktricks that all look good as new...minus the blood 

I don't reuse em tho....too picky I guess

Lots of confidence in these heads....i would like to potentally swap to rads tho just to support a local group.

Savora.  Just shot my Van Dyke's yesterday...whisper quiet and they sit so smoothly with the arrow shaft

It puts more weight in the front of your arrow for hitting energy.  I would check your FOC and all that stuff if I was going with 125 grain it would be with a heavy arrow drawing a lot of weight.

Montecs fly awful for me. 
Shuttle T kill, and fly excellent, but I agree that they leave very poor blood trails.  Almost cost us two build the last two years.

It's front of center that your weight to length ratio is.  You should go to a pro shop and have them weigh your arrows and find out what your front of center is.  10-12% is what I have been told is ideal.  If your arrow is a 500 spine, I would check that also with your lbs your drawing and length of arrow.   That seems under spined to me.  Haven't heard of someone hunting with a 500 spine arrow.

Give the new Savora heads a try.  I have shot them for a few years now and had some devastating results.

We have finally found success getting the old grinding wheel manufacture to make the original Savora grinding wheels!!!   Minimum quantity works out to be about a ten year supply, but we are just happy they have agreed.  Six to nine weeks for production means they should be ready by the time we get the blade die modifications completed.  This should once again put Savora on top of the sharpest broadheads in the industry list.  Three years and a lot of restless nights trying to get this deal done.  If they don't fly apart like the last ones we should be celebrating soon!

When they arrive my brother and I will be flying back to our New Jersey facility to oversee the production of all three MadMan blades.  I am SUPER excited about this!  Savora's legacy has been it's unmatched blade sharpness.  It is the reason I bought the company in the first place.  Now 20 years after the last perfect hunting blade the legendary sharpness should be back.  It is such good news I might even bring back the Carbon blade option for 2016!
