GMU Opening Wa.
« on: March 08, 2015, 10:47:04 AM »
Does anyone have a link or know which additional GMUs are proposed for muzzleloader in Washington in 2015? I thought I read that there are 24 GMUs being added. Thanks.

There's a PDF floating around with the proposed changes. Just can't seem to find it.

It was in the proposed changes, submissions to comment ended on the 24th of Feb, might try the "search" option.
I looked myself, but unable to locate on the WDFW page.

Stampede, Mossyrock, Winston, Margaret, Lewis River, Siouxion, Packwood, Stormking, Coweeman, Willapa Hills, Williams Creek, Bear River, Clearwater, Dickey, Coyle, Wynoochee, Rimrock, Mayview, Prescott, Dayton, Marengo, Blue creek, Tucannon, Lick creek, Peola.

I think that's all but I may have missed one or two.

Thanks

Patience is a good virtue.

I'm excited to see the regs in April.

Here's a link to the proposals so you don't need to wait for the reg's to come out:

Did Dickey get swapped for Goodman?

I forgot Goodman. It's also listed as a new early muzzleloader unit.

So it looks like eastern mule deer muzzleload and eastern muzzleload general elk run the same week now? NICE!! As if back to back wasn't bad enough, now you have to choose one or the other
BOOM ...That's funny ....BOOM !

Sure!!!  A year after I get drawn for a multi-elk tag they open the good areas for muzzy elk.  Maybe those units will still be open in another 10 years when I draw it again! :chuckle:

I wish they would have left cowed an alone... If the proposal goes through.
That late season muzzy hunt was always a fun time!
