I agree with 270Hunter, that the 35 Remington would be fine for coyotes out to 200 yards. But, as with any weapon, you should take it out to the range and be sure you know where the bullets are striking at a couple of useful distances. It will build your confidence when the coyote shot presents itself.
I agree with the poll, too. 100% of respondants are encouraging you to just get out and hunt!
