how are the grounds looking out there for the opener?

Been a few times and had lots of snow, thinking this year  not so much. Just looking at what I need to bring/drive

Should be dry.Some farmers are on their fields plowing already. Turkeys are in breeding groups but the breeding isn't in full swing yet, the toms think its on but the hens aren't quite there yet.

 I been seeing the same. Toms are strutting and gobbling but hens don't pay them no mind.

I've been seeing turkey sex for a month, must be the Jezebel hens just getting some for the fun of it.  I think the hens are already laying, but admittedly haven't been looking for nests.  I see the Toms show up alone now for about a week at 11-12 daily.  We have all our wildflowers out now which is 2 weeks early.
