Only took me a year or 2 after Ray sold the site to figure out that being on this site is nothing more than a waste of my time.  Most or the really good members we had have been run off or don't post because of the current HuntWA Mob.
Interesting.....there are no good members on this site anymore huh? Why, cause they call you out on your business practice? I am fascinated by this theory of yours that members who look out for other members are in reality bad people. That's a twist that goes against everything I was led to believe in life.  :bash:

:yeah:  I agree, that's certainly an interesting and disappointing comment.

If she was a quality taxi like the one I use she would not have the threads on here calling her out like this.

Bottom line is give her your business and you will regreat it from what I see on all the posts from people who do. :twocents:

I am curious how long it takes to do a turkey fan... I know at least one that's a couple years out.   Tannery problems???

:yike:
I guess my turkey fan is a couple of years out.  No time to hunt this year so it will have to wait until next year, so that technically is two years out kinda. :chuckle:

I haven't had any problems getting ahold of her over the last 3 months or so.  I can't remember the exact date I dropped off my Bear.  It was after the first of this year.  I have called her at least 3 times. Once she picked right up, 2 other times she called back with in an hour or so.

Sorry to hear this.....

haha.  2 years ago my 4 year old daughter and I salted a turkey fan and pined it on cardboard.  Turned out great. Still on the wall. :chuckle:

My guess is he thinks this may be your first experience with Michelle and only being in three months things are going well.  He may be concerned for what is ahead of you.  If you have taken stuff to her before and have had success you are probably good to go.  It is possible that your positive interaction so far is because things have changed and she is trying to be more responsive which is what I think everyone is hoping for.

I hope you get your bear back in the timeframe she quoted you and I am sure it will look awesome when you get it back.  I have nothing but good things about the product she puts out.  The timeframe that it gets done in relation to the quoted timeframe is what the issue has seemed to be in the past.

Good luck,

Rainier10,

Possible.

This is my first experiance with using her.  My Taxidermist retired a few years ago, and she was referred to me by a friend that has used her.  That is all I really know about Her.  I have not had any bad experiance with her so far.  I don't believe my friend has either, if he had I am not sure he would have referred  her to me.

She told me that it would likely be 18 months, which is much longer than I am use to waiting.  I saw the Deer and Bear she did for my friend and projects she was working on while I was there.  I felt it was worth the wait.  She did explain to me why she was at 18 month but not being a Taxidermist I didn't understand all of it.

I will be both shocked and impressed if your animal is done in 18 months.

I guess we will see.  Until then I will not jump to the conclusion it will not be.

She did mention while we were discussing the turn around on my Bear that she was hoping to be back to a 12 month return time by this Hunting Season.  Not sure which one she was referring too.  I am going to assume Bear Season in August but I didn't ask.
