christensen arms ca 15
« on: April 20, 2015, 11:55:41 AM »
so yesterday I made the mistake of going to the local outdoor store to kill time. naturally I ended up at the gun counter. I decided that I have to have the benelli super sport. that's another topic though. I ended up looking at the ar rifle. I was planning on building my own sometime down the line but one look at the Christensen CA 15 I fell in love. it fit perfectly pointed well lit all that. so my question is besides the price tag which is steep, are they good rifles? I've been reading up on them and the only thing I can find in Christensen is there barrels are some times off? is the carbon fiber good? what's everyone's thoughts on this gun? besides the price tag that is? I am gong to mostly just target shoot but might on occasion take it out yote hunting

thanks I will read through that. so forgive me I am new to the building or owning a ar outside of the military, I shot what they gave me and didn't think anything else other than that. but can I buy everything from Christensen except the barrel and just get different one and but it on that gun?

I used a CA10 in .308 for a moose hunt in Alaska last year. I thought it was a great rifle, a REAL pleasure to carry. The fit and finish is awesome and it ran flawless.  The price is steep, but its in line with comparable rifles and cheaper than some who don't offer as much.   :twocents:
