« on: May 08, 2015, 06:51:27 PM »
Went out on the slammer today and the ocean was beautiful. Twenty one people caught 210 bass and 44 ling cod by 1 oclock. One guy caught a ling that weighed 35 pounds 14oz to take over the derby lead the ling were caught on green label herring. They downgraded sundays forcast a little bit so hope to get out for halibut sunday.

Sounds like a great trip. Fresh fish & chips! :EAT:

Can't do much better than to go out with Rhett.

He still have Don for a deckhand? And the gal- can't remember her name?  Fun, but more than a little salty.

Don't let Becky hear the bass are biting Del. She just might make me come down to wet a line for some.  :yike:

I can't wait to wet my line....Gonna try for my first WA halibut in a couple weeks. Don't worry, we'll catch as many Ling and Bass as our limits allow ;)....Getting very excited! I love being out on the water
Wishing I was fishing...or in Wyoming

I don't think it was the bite, more of the boat cap. He seemed like he didn't want to search for lings too long. Slammer has always been my #1 go-to boat. Theyre committed. Were about 1/2 way done with our fish anyways. About time to book another trip.

Went out yesterday and took my boat it was a little bouncy but we caught 2 halibut one a nice 40 pounder and the other about 15 but still nice. It took us a while to get on a good spot but the other boats did better still fun fishing.

Sure is fun. Went on the 6th with Chuck on the Freedom. He zeroed in on lings first which was a great plan. Once the boat limited on lings we finished up the rock fish. Cant wait to go again.

I fished with Chuck on saturday.  We did good, a little slow to start but then we found em.  Came up 6 shy of a limit for lings for the boat.  Here's the biggest

We got every mother's day.  It's usually a good time for lings and we have gotten some nice weather the last couple years.  Chris works hard, best deckhand i've been around

Landed 18 lings and over 50 sea bass on Friday. My dad and a friend plus myself. Kept six lings in the upper teens and 30 beautiful rockfish. Oh ya, and a very shallow canary.
