ID springers
« on: May 10, 2015, 11:06:35 PM »
Made it down to Riggins,ID to chase springers. By far the earliest I have ever fished for them in ID. We were a little early with very few reports of any fish being caught and a guide being out everyday had yet to hook one,so confidence was low.Manged to hook one fish. Fishing should be great by this weekend as fish are starting to show now.Bullblaster will be joining me and hopefully get his first salmon. Couldnt beat the weather and scenery as usual down there.

I got one yesterday and it was one of the biggest I have caught down there and today we only fished this am before heading home we hooked 2 and lost them both. Saw a ton of fish rolling, but not no action. The river is to level out now and slowly drop all week I suspect fishing will pick up this week.
