I rounded up a couple of decent lings at Tatoosh Island yesterday morning. It turned out to be the best weather day for my stay of three days. The cooler is full. I also picked up a decent cabezon at the island as well. Behind me in the cave were a few 2000lb elephant seals napping. Although somewhat disturbed they never got hostile while we took our lunch break

The sea kayak proved the best choice when navigating the currents between Cape Flattery and Tatoosh Island. A bunch of guys hauled in their halibuts by kayak over the weekend as well.
