Young adults and pistols
« on: May 29, 2015, 05:29:02 PM »
I gave my son .22 pistol for highschool graduation and I'm wondering what the law says about him having it?? I know he can't carry concealed and that for someone over 21 it has to be unloaded in the vehicle if he has it with him, but with him only 18 can he have it with him unloaded in the car if he's going hunting or shooting? Or does he have to have an adult with him?

Yes, I believe for ANY kind of outdoor recreational activity he can transport it in his vehicle. He could be just going for a hike in the woods.
