Dog training recomendations
« on: January 23, 2009, 10:06:12 PM »
I talked to a few different hunting dog trainers at the "Sportsmens Show" on Wed and was wondering if any one has had any dealins with or any opion of the people i talked with.

Dan Mar, profesional trainer and sale rep for "Natural Ballance".
Kate Johansson, of "Sit Means Sit" (local in the tacoma area).
Bryant Meyer, of "Rocking M Retrievers" in Eatonville.

Yes i did talk the people from "Cook Canyon" and have heard nothing but good things about them, but they raised there prices to $850 this year and thats a little high for my budget.  :dunno:

Thanks
Peter

Bryant Meyers is active and successful in Retriever Hunt Tests. His dogs performance speaks for itself. He qualified for the Master National this year. His dogs run hard and happy. I think Kate is more into obediance, I have been to every trial and test in Wa, Or and Idaho last two years and have only seen her a couple of times. Haven't seen her dogs run. Not familiar with Dan Mar....might be a pointer trainer......

Where do you live....I can pass on more names and numbers....Happy

I talked to the guys from tuxcedo kennel and liked what he had to say.   Seems like a good guy
