cows 2015
« on: November 27, 2015, 03:05:49 PM »
Well after a couple cow tags ate the wife finally got to shoot her first elk and I got another but I think the oldest one to date! Not sure she would have made it thru the winter! her ivories were almost wore to the gum line and upon butchering I found a 223 maybe a 243 bullet lodged inside her shoudler!  >:(
But the freezer is full and it all happened the year I talked my dad into dusting off his hunters orange and come with us!!

Nice.  Your wife's cow, the eyes look bulged out.  Were they?

i think it was really surpised to see the wife  :chuckle:
no, it was a very well placed finishing shot! she could only do the head, any other place would have ruined meat! We had a tough time taking pictures due to the laughing!  :chuckle:  :chuckle:  :chuckle:

Holy Smokes.  With those two cows you will be able to feed your families for at least 5 years.  Amazing.

Damn, just the eyes on your wife's cow alone would feed you guys for the winter.  :chuckle: Nice work though, both of you.
