Peaches Ridge Help... Revived!!
« on: June 13, 2015, 03:09:21 PM »
Hey guys, so I drew out for a bull tag during modern firearm for Peaches Ridge. First off, I've never hunted the area before. Myself, my Opa, and my father usually stick to the 340 and 342 area. Unfortunately, I'm currently deployed overseas and unable to do any scouting of the area or anything like that. The best I can do at the moment is surf the area from above on Google Earth. I know hunters don't like to give out their spots or anything like that, which I completely understand. I'm just looking for a little bit of assistance on maybe where to start this hunt when I come back. This is the first time I've drawn out for a bull and I'm truly excited and would love to be able to fill this tag this year. Any and all information and recommendations are truly welcomed and I would love to hear from you. Thanks again guys and I hope to be able to post up a good story later this area about filling this tag. Oh if anyone has been wondering, I drew out for this tag with 10 points. Not sure if that is high for the area or not, but I'm pretty sure I've seen lower points being drawn. Thanks!

Just a general tag, rut would have been nice.

I wouldn't say that's "just a general tag"
I had the muzzy tag in there 07 and it overlaps the rifle guys Oct 1-10th I believe and the bulls were so fired up it was silly. The first week of Oct is my favorite time to hunt rutted bulls anyway! Good Luck it sounds like you have plenty of help.
