Take Golf Course Rd, and go up Woods n Steele road, and head on up to the top of South Cle Elum Ridge. Basically from that point the world is your oyster. I'd scope out the area that burned this last year, its a lot more open now in those areas and should have good forage for the critters. When they get a lot of pressure be prepared to follow them down into the Taneum creek basin in the deeper darker timber. Bring good boots, and strong legs. Good luck!

Nice.

We pulled 3 ourselves.

That means it's your camp, our camp and 333 of our closest friends with muzzy cow tags up there......    Better pick put your tree now.      :yike:

They are giving way to many cow tags in that gmu in my opinion.  Get behind the gates and you will find elk.  The places you find them now will be vacant when all the hunters move in.  Good luck!!

Get up high and in deep and avoid the circus of dirt bike riders. Avoid any trail designated for ORV.  :twocents:
