Been fighting fire all summer haven't had any time for scouting,.  Anybody been up looking around?  Hope things start to settle down a little.

Hope some of you that have spent recent time in this unit can send him in the right direction!

It's been  a  rough  fire season  for me had 4 days off in July .  Got  2 days  off in August . September  isn't  looking  great  either  working  this  weekend .  I've  pretty  much  given  up archery   hunting . I was  hoping  to  get  out and  help my brother in law and  nephew . The only  reason  I put  in for this tag  is  my son  is  going  into  the  navy. We were  just  burning  points . I had  14 he had 6

Depressing to hear that the unit's not very good anymore, it's a place I've been excited to put in for for archery cow tags... Did you see many elk?

My son got his cow on the opening day afternoon. She was all by herself. In the southern part of the unit.
