Vet Recommendation
« on: June 18, 2015, 07:41:26 PM »
I am getting a Chocolate Lab in two weeks and want to figure out a vet before she comes home. The vet we used with previous dogs has retired so I must choose a new one. I have visited a few vets so far but was hoping that my fellow hunters in Clark County could recommend good vets. I would prefer a vet in East Vancouver or Battle Ground. Thank You!!!

Cascade Park Animal Hospital down behind Fred Meyer on 164th isn't bad. The VCA in Battle Ground isn't bad either but they're corporate and often very busy as I understand it. Your only other option in BG is back behind Main on one of the side streets. Nice looking facility, no idea how the staff is.

There is another off of Padden and 162nd and still another back behind the IHop on 164th. But I have no knowledge or experience with them but if you're looking now you know. Orchards Veterinary is off of 503, by the AutoZone, that's the other in east Vancouver that I might check out that is "close" to BG, but again, I have no experience with them.

Cascade Park has boarding and animal rehab (nice for post op knee surgeries etc).

I'm in Battle Ground as well and have been to a few vets. By far the best one I have found is Amazia Animal Hospital in Battle Ground off of 503(ish). All my personal and client dogs go there. I have never had a bad experience and they are very fair. Cannot speak more highly of them. Good luck.
