Is it REALLY worth it???

Hey i know its early, but i was just curious if it was really a zoo like i keep hearing when they open OAK CREEK up to go find sheds?? i hear its just crazy, somebody please give me the 411 on this, when is it? any advice?? thanks again! much appreciated

Its May 1st.  Its ridiculous     I am, or used to be one of the biggest shed hunters you'd ever meet.  NOT GOING.  I live 5 minutes ok maybe 9 from there and I would consider it a waste in gas

And there are already 50 guys up there weeks before it opens stock piling sheds and when the gate opens they go barreling up in a cloud of dust to get to their piles.

I have literally seen trucks coming back out of that place by 8:00am with their truck bed half full of sheds.  :bdid: I wouldn't waste your time unless you want to be PISSED OFF  :bash:

You might not find any sheds because like robodad says people are in there finding them well before the gates open. But it is a great place to see a lot of wildlife that time of year.

i have gone every now and then.i have always got at least one shed.for some reason i always find old ones.i think its because i go into hell holes.
you cant eat the horns, but backstraps look like crap on my wall!!!!
