elk hard horned already?

i have heard from a couple of friends that they have seen hard horned bulls already, as of a week and a half ago.  Anyone seeing the same.  Both sightings were on the west side...

Still in velvet where I am at (from what I have seen).  Usually I start seeing hard horns and rubs right around August 15th.  I'm not surprised though that is only 3 to 4 weeks away.

Wow that would be early.. I suppose it's possible with the weather this year. I hope this doesn't mean we have an early rut
