Unless you plan on never hunting that area again, I wouldn't steal a game cam or anything.
Reminds me of an incident during bow season. Me and my buddy were at the trucks and ran into another guy hunting the area. We made small talk and he started whining about some tree stands set up over a salt lick down in the canyon. He said he was going to climb up there and take them down. Little did he know they were ours and there was no salt lick, it was a dried up wallow. We have never put salt in the area. You cant in Idaho. He said he had been hunting the area for years and that pissed him off. I didn't want to let him know where we hunt, because there were some good bulls down there and he thought the area was a ghost town so I snapped a picture of his truck so that if the stands were gone, Id know who to make a visit too. We pulled them down after season, but part of me was hoping to meet him walking out with them one day, so I could thank him for doing all that work for us!
